Haha, I love it. Hurra Torpedo are probably the only band I'd pay to see.
Last show I saw was Meat Beat Manifesto, pretty hard to follow up.

Gadget Orchestra by Jetdaisuke (via Tiny Cartridge <http://tinycartridge.com/post/67657888/gadget-orchestra-by-jetdaisuke-similar-to-the>). Clever? yes. Good music? I like it.

Bits used:
* Korg Kaossilator Dynamic Phrase Synthesizer
* iPod Touch with Mokugyo (JP only)
* iPhone with Bloom
* Nintendo DS Lite with Electroplankton
* Nintendo DSi with KORG DS-10
* Belkin Rockstar

I fancy giving that Korg DS-10 a go...

This is too funny not to share ... the first video below is a TV commercial (I first saw it while at my sister's house over the holidays) and the second is someone's 'remix' of it -- I remember thinking that the robes looked like cult outfits so when I got home I looked it up online, and apparently other people had the same idea ... hehe ...

The YouTube Thread 2

Postby phil333 » Thu Feb 19, 2009 2:59 pm

Sorry its taking ages to upload the old thread on my computer.

Not a major fan of Drum and bass but when done well i.e. Goldie, Roni Size, 4 hero its spot on.

The track above is a remix of a masters at work Nuyorian Soul track. A good analogy would be the film 'From dusk to Dawn' when the film starts off in one theme and then just veres off in another direction. :thumbs:
The D and B vibe dosn't kick off till in the middle of the track but when it does its just a great moment in the track. Would be a cool track to play out IMO.
