It's a good line, although the advert did pay for new studio time for Public Image, I'm hopeful for the album.

I don't buy that, mate. Allegedly, Mr Lydon is something of a property tycoon in LA. And you know how far recording
technology has come since the early days. There's no need to pay £20,000 a day to record an album anymore. that shit
is oldskool. I'm give him more props if he did it in his bedroom.

I've seen his documentaries, and at least he was true to himself in those. Playing the comedy clown for Anchor butter was sad. (not that he gives a fuck what we think). Did Howard Devoto do it? Or Rat scabies? Hugh Cornwell? No. I don't think there is any sense of irony in him being a salesman. but, i appreciate that's just my point of view. and other people may like the ad.

i guess the man who sang "No Future in England's Dreaming", and "cheap holidays in other people's misery" has earned the right to say and do whatever the fuck he wants. forever. he's already scored. back of the net. thankyou, goodnight.

toooo beeee lovvvved.

Still got a lot of love for him. he has got us talking. so on that level, he is still a great artist.
even though i'd like to frisbee those fucking crumpets off his heed.
