this week i am listening to the two new mercury rev albums - there is a free one you can get, and one you buy.

I am liking the free one more...

I've not heard of Adult. - thanks for the heads up.

So far this week it's been mostly rough mixes of a new project i've been working on with my friend and the tBd / UR RApodcast (which is very good stuff - thanks)

wow. where did you unearth those, Gregg?
does he say anything interesting?
or are they for historical/curio collectors only?

mr crowley's recorded voice was a big dissapointment.
so i'm hoping HP's isn't.

sorry ken, they are the lectures i uploaded links to on the old forum, not by lovecraft himself, but by dr. justin woodman. they were given at treadwell's bookshop (covent garden area of london) in 2007. they are quite good.

i had the chance to visit treadwell's last summer when i met the dude from the typhonian oto there. i would recommend it to anyone interested in the fringes, it has even more of a vibe to it than the sadly missed compendium bookshop in camden town used to.

anyway, here is the link again:

currently listening to "the secret life of trance" on vinyl, old rising high compilation from 92-93, i think it finishes off with a black dog track (not sure as i have a white label pressing). anyway, all good stuff, really miss that techno vibe, especially all the cool german stuff, namlook, spicelab, fax stuff, hardfloor etc.

one of life's great dissapointments. after reading the works,
i expected nothing less than the booming voice of the aeon.

the great beast... TO META THERION... recorded for all eternity.

What do we get?
A nasal whiner.

wish i hadn't heard them.
