BT binary universe. bt started out with a great album IMA and then went a bit wank IMO with aload of euro trance type tunes but this album sees him back on form and you can really hear his classical background in the work. Do recommend for others to check out and its is also in 5.1 which I havn't heard myself yet.

Is that Mozzer Mart? (Loved 'Viva Hate' but haven't really kept up with his output much since... the album before last was pretty good though).

I've been listening to a lot of New Order this week: Still think 'Power, Corruption & Lies' is one of their best. :)

It is, I'm a massive fan and have just about everything by him and The Smiths.

Excellent... I went on a mini-Smiths iPod binge myself on Friday... it's been a while. Remember having Hatful of Hollow on cassette tape when I was 14 and regret never seeing them live.

My missus *hates* Morrissey, guess he just provokes quite a severe reaction. you either love him or hate him. A bit like McEnroe or Eubank! (I love all three!).

Have also been listening to the Jesus & Mary Chain B-sides & Rarities box set.

I've been tanning out Venetian Snares' 'Detrimentalist'. And quite a lot of Surgeon's output recently... 'This Is For You Shits' is really rather good.

chris watson - weather report cd (former CV and h30 member and the best field recordist in the world - apparently - 3 tracks, 18 minutes each, edited field recordings from africa, iceland and scotland, great stuff and the lions are REALLY scary!)

sigur ros - heima double dvd (this is just incredible!)

the fireman - electric arguments double vinyl (paul mccartney and youth, only listened to it twice so far but am really loving it)

bob marley and the wailers - the complete upsetter collection 6 cds (everything bob and the wailers ever recorded with lee perry, before they signed to island records, fantastic roots reggae with all the versions)

Talking of Watson, a track of his appears here: http://www.alandunn67.co.uk/soundtrackforamerseytunnel.html

Thought this was quite an interesting project even if it is a year old.

Apart from a couple of tracks there I've been listening to quite a few REM albums, some Global Communication, Speedy J and A Positive Life this week.

i've been getting into Cybotron and Model 500.... loving it, it's amazing to think that some of these tracks are from the 80's! - really ahead of it's time. :)

Caining a fair bit if Deadmau5 too... i saw him getting ripped on LD so checked it out... haven't looked back since, he is a well talented geezer... real showman too - good on him! :)
