Psychonavigation Records can confirm that legendary electronic group The Black Dog have just completed a remix exclusively for the label.

They have delivered a 9 minute epic remix of the track 'Corrosion' from Psychonavigation's latest signing Anodyne. The reworking of the track,will be released as part of a remix package due for release in August.

Psychonavigation Records present the debut album 'Voce Falena' from Italian artist Antonio Trinchera. A guitarist and composer who began studying classical guitar at age 13, but immediately let himself be influenced by the sounds of blues and jazz which were deepened under the guidance of "Nico Stufano” the Italian guitarist.

Since 1990, Antonio has undertook a busy concert schedule, playing in different formations as "Cruna", "Ritza," “Soggetti a rischio", "Transmutazioni " "Intuitu", "Colores", "Fuso & Quadrato", "Kuraj "" Bitmap Brothers "and" “La barca del re”, with whom he attended in 2003 the "Week of Italian Culture" in Bosnia.

In recent years, his passion for ambient music, electronics and experimentation have inspired many of his compositions, among which we quote: "Last Love Inside Love" recorded for "Psyconavigation records" on the album "Zaum vol.1" and the song "Into the Sun" composed by Andrea Scaevola for the label 'Inglorious Ocean' on the EP Hybris". His debut album 'Voce Falena' is a breathtaking work which embraces all the artist's influences into the albums twelve tracks. File under Guitar loops,Jazz motifs touches and Ambient soundscapes.

Psychonavigation records celebrates it's 10 year anniversary next month. As an independent music label It's been a tough struggle keeping the label afloat over the years. I suppose 'no pain no gain' as they say

We have chosen the finest electronic musicans to help us celebrate the release of the digital version of our new compilation 'Mindfield' and not forgetting 10 years of the record label The event will take place on Saturday December 4th in Dublin's coolest venue The Twisted Pepper (Full details below)

So what's this Mindfield compilation all about I hear you say? Well we are 10 years old as you know, so we decided to open the doors for electronic musicans to send us their music.

We ended up picking 22 tracks from a total of 56 sent into our office hence 'Mindfield' was born. We will do a separate mailout soon with the full list of artists who made the cut. We will also be announcing another event taking place in a beautiful setting here in Dublin. A more chilled affair...

How is everyone today?

Well were told the snow will subside by the afternoon and the thaw will set in so it shouldn't be too tricky to get to and from the National Concert Hall this evening or The Twisted Pepper tomorrow night Dart services are running fine and the taxi men will be out I'm sure!

WE ARE 10

To celebrate 10 years of Independent music we have chosen the plush setting of The National Concert Hall to have our party and we are all set to provide you with the ideal Winter Soundtrack in the The Kevin Barry Room.

Due to the bad weather (and having to travel from the other side of the country with a car full of equipment) Common Tongue can't perform unfortunately so it's been decided that head honcho of Psychonavigation DJ.Keith Downey will take over the controls with a beautiful ambient set to kick start the proceedings.

Sean Quinn will then quickly follow with a selection of tracks from his forthcoming long-player 'Standing Waves' .Sean will be joined on stage by fellow Tiny Magnetic Pet and vocalist Paula Gilmer to perform their forthcoming single 'Spinning'.

Wrapping up the night is the godfather of Irish electronic music Mr.Roger Doyle. Roger will step up to the grand piano and perform an exclusive set of new musical treats.
