It’s been a while since we’ve done an update but seeing as we’re in the studio right now taking a break from other people we thought we’d share what we are up to.

Over the last year or so we’ve kinda grown tired over production values. In Sheffield there’s always been a sense of the “least fuss necessary”, all you need is a dark room, a strobe, a smoke machine and great sound system. This has always held true for us and after working on two ambient projects we wanted to strip everything back. We just want to make people dance and have a great party. While that explanation may not be complex enough for some people it is the truth, a return to the source.

We’re currently working on 3X12″s for Dust Science called Liber Kult, Liber Temple and Liber Nox. These releases are aimed straight at the dancefloor; they’re dark, stripped back as far as possible and loaded with bass. We’re working with Simon Francis on the mastering and Human for the artwork. Each 12″ will be on 180gram coloured vinyl and will be limited to 300 units, with the first 100 for duststore coming in a limited hand numbered cover. Liber Kult will be available on 1/08/11.

It’s been two years since we last did a run of T-Shirts so we thought it was time to do another special limited run.

We’ve always used a small “Mom & Pop” place to do our shirts, the same place we’ve been using for many years and while they may not be the fastest set up, the quality is outstanding plus we always do what we can to support small business here in Sheffield, it’s important to us.

So here’s how it works – we’ll be taking orders until the 30/06/10. After this date we’ll stop taking orders the sales and then it will take 2 weeks for the T-shirts to be printed, packed and shipped. Proper old school.

We’ll only print the number of shirts actually ordered and then we’ll destroy the screens. We won’t be doing a second run.

Sizes available are:
SMALL 35″-37″
MEDIUM 38″-40″
LARGE 41″-43″
EXTRA LARGE 44″-46″

All shirts are the highest quality premium Fruit Of The Loop designs.

Music For Real Airports was successfully launched on the 24th of April 2010 to a sold-out audience at Sheffield’s Millennium Gallery as part of Sensoria Festival. A global tour is now being planned, along with a specially designed installation.

Something’s just leave a mark for ever, Cabaret Voltaire in 1978 was one of them. For the first time in our early listening days it was difficult to understand how the sound was being made. It was just so different, it meant something and it still does.
