DS93 News
Posted on 22nd July 2026 in News, Releases

Most of you will know that the second series on DS93 will consist of 11 Digipak CDs, each with a single focus. At this point we’re not sure how long the series will take, but at the time of writing the first three releases are complete. The next instalment is scheduled for release in September.
The plan was to build the series slowly. As this is our second label, we expected things to move at a more measured pace. You seem to have other ideas. Stock of the first release is already running low and, at the current rate, we expect it to sell out within the next month.
Our thinking on vinyl is fairly straightforward. If the CDs continue to sell well, we’ll look at combining two volumes into a limited vinyl release. We’ll review that after the second release and keep everyone updated as our plans develop.
The second release, Psychick Youth, is pencilled in for September.

Feral Grace – New Album On DS93 – 03/07/2026
Posted on 22nd June 2026 in Releases
Feral Grace was written around old childhood places reclaimed by nature, or replaced by new housing estates. Places long forgotten, their purpose discarded as the world moved on. Yet the memories stay there, caught in the undergrowth, thought of once in a while.
We remember gathering leaf moss from the woods for our tomato plants. Building dams in shallow streams. Filling our wellies with frog spawn and carrying it home like treasure. Small acts that felt large at the time.
Fishing banks where we spent hours. Not talking, just sharing food. Two cans of shandy bass and egg sandwiches. The water long drained and the people gone, but if you look hard enough you can still see the faint outline of where it once was.

Some places still hold the paths where people once walked to work. The tracks remain cut into the land, but the work itself has gone. Trades smashed during the years of Thatcher, ripping communities apart. That memory still lives on. You see it when a scab walks into the pub. Some things are never forgotten.
The music on Feral Grace sits between then and now. A bridge between memory and the present day. A last spell cast before those memories fade and the fingerprints disappear.
Who will know we were here at all?
Perhaps only a distant echo left behind in our Feral Grace

Music For Real Airports (5 CD Boxset) – Available Now
Posted on 4th June 2026 in Mixes, Releases

Collected together for the first time, this five-CD box set brings together the various works from the Music For Real Airports project.
The collection not only includes Music For Real Airports, Music For Airport Lounges, and Music For Dead Airports, but also features a substantial amount of new, unheard material, alternate mixes and live recordings taken from our archive. This second box set reflects a long and uneasy relationship with airports.
After years spent sitting in airports, travelling to and from gigs, we have seen past the polished surfaces and the promises of comfort and efficiency. They present a controlled fiction, a managed calm built on delay, surveillance and routine.
Across five hours of music, much of it previously unheard and available for the first time, the box set confronts the modern reality of travel and the corporate structures that shape it. The music documents these spaces as they are experienced rather than as they are sold.
Loud Ambient EP2 – Free Download!
Posted on 21st April 2026 in Releases

This EP marks the final works on Loud Ambient. For now, anyway. Here we present three tracks built around colour fields, with drum machines driving everything forward, and where the internal and external spaces collapse into each other.
The work with Loud Ambient has been rewarding and well-received. Still, it ends here. A line has been drawn.
Artwork on the studio walls feeds back into the sound. Image becomes system. System becomes loop. This EP stretches further than usual. Not wider. Just less contained. This is a marker for what comes next.
Thank you for all the support and love. This EP is free to download or pay what you want.

Loud Ambient 2 – Coming 3rd of April 2026
Posted on 19th February 2026 in Releases
Loud Ambient 2 picks up directly from where Loud Ambient left off. After picking the drum machines back up, we returned to the colourfield ideas that shaped the first record. Rothko remained a key reference, alongside a strong recommendation to spend time with the work of Josef Albers. We did exactly that, and it paid off.
Alongside the music, we created 50 new pieces of artwork for Loud Ambient 2. These became tools rather than decorations. Working this way felt open and rewarding, and brought a real sense of play back into the process. We already understood what a Loud Ambient track could be, so slipping back into that headspace felt natural. The tracks came together quickly, full of energy, movement and that familiar noodle quality.
The creative side landed easily this time. There is something about working with colourfields that frees you up and pushes you further into abstraction. It removes hesitation and keeps the focus on instinct and response.
With the drum machines and synths loaded, we kept our heads down and made the kind of music we want to hear on a dance floor. Loud Ambient 2 is the result.

Loud Ambient EP 1
Posted on 19th February 2026 in Releases

This EP was made to sit alongside the album Loud Ambient. For this release we shifted into a more relaxed headspace across all four tracks. The drum machines are still front and centre, but the focus moves toward space, tone and pacing rather than pressure.
We spent time working with different colour fields and developing artwork that runs in parallel with the music. The visual side follows the same approach as the tracks themselves. Calm, considered and deliberate.
Each track brings its own character, but they lock together cleanly. The result is a focused four track EP that works as a complete piece rather than a set of loose ideas.

This year has been a strong one for us in the studio. We’ve spent more time making music than at any other point since we began. Between the main studio and our own set-ups, we’ve been working flat out, and the support from you, our listeners and followers, has meant a lot. It keeps us moving and keeps the art honest. Nothing stays still, and that keeps the energy up.
This project is a continuation of our Sleep Deprivation series, and a counterpoint to our recent Loud Ambient work. It’s also our way of saying thank you to everyone who has supported us so far. We want you to feel seen, especially if you are skint. We are still fans of music, and we know what it means when someone gives their time and attention. Your support this year has driven us to keep creating. It also allows us to stick to the DiY ethics, because we don’t want to deal with corporations that drain the life out of what we do.
As a thank you, we’ve made this album “pay what you want”, so if you are skint, you can pay nowt.
Thank you.
