Single Of The Month – DJ Mag
New Remix 12″ On Soma – Detroit vs Sheffield

The finishing touches are just being made to a new remix 12″ for Soma, including a remix from Detroit legend Rob Hood. We’ve been fans of Rob’s work since day dot and he’s perhaps one of the only artist we have every single release by. Train By The Autobahn (Part 1) gets a completely new work out from this Detriot master.
Also back on the mix is The Bass Soldier, his second remix for us, Siiiipher gets the full bass treatment from such a talented teenager, watch your bins is all we can say.
More news when we go to masters.

Laurent Garnier ? Black Dog as good as ever.
Claude Young ? The Black Dog has done it again! Deep funky electronics presented by the masters of the game. This release is definitely something for the mind body and soul. 10/10?
Denise Breidbach ? Great release, all three tracks are massive ?hits?!!! Absolutely stunning. 10/10?

Since the release of Silenced in October 2005 The Black Dog have been working delicately on its successor. Two years in the making and the first album to be completed in their new Sheffield Lab.
Radio Scarecrow has been over two years in the making, constantly developing and building, culminating in a masterpiece work that flows delightfully and hits hard. A true progression on Silenced, the trio are keen to note ?the beats are faster and the bass is much heavier ? so much so that it was making us ill working with the low frequencies for hours on end, we could only do 3 hours at a time on some parts?.

After months of waiting and what seems like a lifetime mastering and mixing , the new single is finally here. We got Single Of The Month in Mixmag and the single seems to be going down really, really well. Anyway here’s some DJ feedback on the release:
Shelley Parker ? This is excellent! Just so great to hear this dubstep/techno sound being pushed to it?s limits. Fave mix Surgeon. Will chart in Nov.
Louis Osbourne ? This Surgeon mix is wicked? it?s got some serious fun in there.
Josh Wink ? Very interesting record, as usual for tBd?Surgeon mix is something that I may try out. Top production as usual.
Laurent Garnier ? looooooove the dubstep remix. Will definitely play that.
