Sonar Report

Asking us if tBd want to go to Barcelona for 5 days and play Sonar and La Terrazza can only b guaranteed?one answer! Barcelona has to be one of our favourite cities and it doesn’t take much at all to get us over there. After a short delay at Leeds airport and a delay waiting for a lift at BCN airport we landed at our hotel to drop the bags off before head straight out to the Soma party.?

La Terrazza is in the middle of?Poble Espanyol Ayda complex, it feels like you’re in the wrong place to start with as the location is so beautiful and there’s no one around at all. You can’t hear a single beat being played, it’s only when you get inside the club that you can hear the music (more on this later). Dave Soma gave us 25 beer and water (yeah right) tokens and we sat back and listened to Silicone Soul warming the crowd up nicely. Next up was Mark Henning and then us for a short slot before chilling out and having a few too many beers, the rest is just a blur…Well apart from having to keep the volume level below 92db, what a freaking nightmare, people constantly leaning over you and messing with the mixer, we did manage to bottom the whole system out twice tho 🙂

It’s been a long time since the Dog has been to Belgium, well we have been but it’s always on the way to somewhere else! Fuse‘s commitment to Techno is well documented (Since 1994)?so the chance to go over and play for them was most welcome, even if it did mean getting up at 6am to catch the only direct flight out of Manchester!!! So over the moors we headed.

Bangface Cancelled Tonight – Sorry!

Due to Rich having an accident at the studio early today we’ve had to cancel tonights performance. Sorry about this but Rich’s back is badly brusied and it looks like he may have slipped a disk. Gutted and Concerned – tBd

Update: Bruised and sore, Rich is going to be fine but needs to take it easy for the next month or so.

Manchester And Dublin Gig Reports

It’s always good to get over to Manchester, the nightlife there makes Sheffield feel like a small village and we’ve been wanting to play there for a while. So we hit the Snake Pass and headed over, it’s not an easy drive, even if you know the road well. We get the usual nutcase go past us 90+ and the toss-pot that tail gates you all the way across, more on this subject later.
